In developing the PharmE® Waste Wizard, we have attempted to make it as easy as possible for you to find a product and, once you have found the product you are looking for, the Wizard presents considerable supporting information to explain why we indicated that the product is hazardous or non-hazardous. However, we realize questions will come up and we want to provide you with the information you need to properly manage pharmaceutical waste.

Our database includes over 170,000 current pharmaceutical products provided by Medi-Span's Master Drug Data Base (MDDB®). We receive updates from Medi-Span weekly and we are continually reviewing any new products to include them in the Wizard as quickly as possible. If you cannot find a particular product in the databae, e-mail the NDC number, product description, and manufacturer to us at info@pharmecology.com and we will research the item for you at no charge.

We also realize you may have questions about why we classified a product or group of products in a particular way. Please feel free to email us these questions at info@pharmecology.com or phone our PharmE® Waste Wizard support line at 414-292-3959. In most cases, our product analysts will be able to answer your question immediately. If they cannot, they will forward your question to our research staff and we will get back to you, normally within two business days.
