Through education, information, implementation support, and certification, PharmEcology® provides on-going solutions to enhance the way in which pharmaceutical waste is identified and managed. Charlotte Smith, founder of PharmEcology® Associates has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. For the past 15 years, she has developed a unique expertise in the area of identifying and managing hazardous pharmaceutical waste. This focused perspective coupled with a desire to shorten the learning curve for professional colleagues and their respective organizations led her to establish PharmEcology® Associates.

The management, staff, and consultants at PharmEcology® Associates also have many years management experience in pharmacy practice and related enterprises. We understand the problems involved in managing pharmaceutical waste streams in compliance with the EPA’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
